Description
The APR 49/20 features excellent maneuverability and power with an 8,2 kw engine available to help with climbing and, ultimately, compaction. The machine performs at grades up to 30 per cent.
We have received several questions asking, “the Ammann models look like Bobcat models?”. It is the other way around, Ammann private labels the Bobcat lineup of compaction. The only difference besides color, is the big price difference compared to ours. This particular model Bobcat RP49.20D they sell for a few hundred more than our stocked Patriot option.
The APR 49/20 is heavier than most of the vibratory plates with the exception of the APR 59/20.
Working widths of 17.7 inches can be broadened with extensions of 2.9 inches and 5.9 inches (5.9 extensions are included). The engine hood is durable and protective but also grants great accessibility for servicing.
