The Ammann ATR68P Premium rammer with the larger Honda GXR120 engine is a technically advanced rammer, adapted to help professionals be productive and safe.

As of this writing we have this model in our physical stock and available for same day shipping for orders by Noon to avoid many of our online competitors delays and dependence on shipping from a backordered mfg (we can always ship this path like they do at the lower price also).

Do not hold this lower price for a large rammer category unit against this model, this Intro Sale Price is for a limited time for this solid German built Premium Rammer for those Pros looking for quality. Patriot has been wanting to add Ammann to our line-up for their Family Owned 150 plus years (6th generation) experience in the construction equipment manufacturing and our proud to be a stocking dealer.

Ammann ATR60P & ATR68P Brochure  (click for pdf, right column is for this model’s specs, but see below note regarding compaction force as closer to 3,500 +/- force in real life)

As of this writing we have chosen to only stock the larger ATR68P for the additional compaction force since it only weighs 13 lbs more than the smaller rammer.

Among the key features of the Premium models are an optimized multi-function gas lever that is shaped and positioned for easy reach and operation; a low emission engine that fulfills the strictest regulations worldwide, and an additional air filter system that extends the life of the machine.

The premium models also feature the vibration-isolated handle concept that limits hand-arm vibrations to protect the operator. The handle is an important feature to make work more comfortable and to avoid long term health issues. required, the height of the handle can be adjusted to adapt to the operator’s size.

The Premium rammers utilize a Honda GXR 120 engine that meets the strictest emissions requirements.

  • German built
  • I have personally tested this unit side by side with two Bomag rammers and can say in real life this rammer is hitting approx 3,500 +/- lbs force. I have requested Ammann to review their specs as I suspect they did not update the compaction force when they went from the ATR68C model which has a GX100 smaller engine at the sub 3,000 lbs force on the specs.
  • Honda GXR120
  • Only Height Adjustable Handle Rammer we stock out of 5 mgs
  • Solid fuel shutoff position for laydown transportations
  • Well engineered and solid engine guards for those that lay their rammers down during transport
